Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

What can one say Kerry - the first shot is a lot better than the second, but I feel that if #1 had been less busy you would have had a shot for wall hanging.

We must think along the same lines as prior to your posting I had been contemplating a similar series of shots. :)

Kerry, I like what you are doing here, good to see people trying different things - like when Fozzie and I were shooting macro in the garden at midnight. Are yoiu handholding your penlight?

Well done, Kerry. I also feel No. 1 has a much stronger impact than no. 2. Alex

I'm really enjoying this series of "light painting" stuff Kerry... Only thing that catches me is cutting off the rose petal on the left in the first, and the way the additional rose petals and the leaf seem to detract from the reflection... But then again, that's probably just me :)

Terrific execution, I think you're firing up people's motivation when you see different stuff nicely done like this... Quite inspirational...

I prefer #1, but the rogue petal on the right could be eliminated.
Echoing the sentiments of others; I'm loving this series of light paintings, Kerry.
Have you tried using coloured water droplets?

The 1st shot here Kerry is wonderful, the colours on my monitor are exceptional, and it's just that tad different, which makes it interesting.
