I just wanted to point out that Rel you are far to modest, your macro work is great...on topic if these are still the latests and greatest in 11months then I'll be adding one to my kit 
Depth of field on macros is quite shallow......... so when shooting at night you need as much power as possible that YOU KNOW HOW TO CONTROL.............to get the best results......... practice practice practice

The shots are either of my lounge with the famous chicken and bear. A lasolite grey card was used to normalise the WB.
The instructions recommend 45 degree slant on the shot. 
90 degree is reserved for high ceillings, but tested with my low ceilling home. 
Direct flash was taken to make a comparision with the LS PJ with the new dome attachment. 
The dome attachment. These shots looked at skin tone with the LS PJ with dome as a fill flash under indoor normal lighting.

Compared to the LS PJ with dome. Conclusion Gives very nice spread of light. Both the subject and background is elegantly lit. I think the shot with the 90 degree flash angle gives the best result. The new dome give less washed out in colours than a direct fire of the flash gun. There is a slight improvement with skin tone when used as a flash fill during daylight conditions.
I got my dutch cap today nito but have been too busy to try it yet. From the look of your shots I am going to enjoy having a play.

sirhc55, I am quite happy with the LS purchase. Best $60 spent, dunno about the dome cap for $20. I prefer the LS, pointed straight up than use the dome cap aimed directly at the subject. Maybe better results can be obtained with human subjects at low light. More experiments required.
BlacknStormy should have received her dome cap today, or will very soon. We both use our PJs out in the field at night for frog and insect macro shots (45deg angle usually) so it will be interesting to see how the dome adds to the effect. I'm holding off on ordering mine until I've seen hers in operation for the sort of stuff we photograph. I'm sure it will be a worthwhile piece of kit and only a matter of time before I order one.
