Thanks for comments. Yeah, the chicks are cute, aren't they? Amazing how close you can get without the parents leaving their chicks. Very protective parents, that's for sure. Cheers Michael
Amazing shot..well spotted. The chicks draw you towards the amazingly camoflagued parent.
One evening I was sitting out on the verandah and a frogmouth flew down and sat on a verandah post about 12 foot away. I didn't move and it didn't move for about half an hour. Congrats on an outstanding photo.
Great image. I can only congratulate on your patience to get an image like this. I take it you climbed a tree.

Great shot. The camoflague of the adult is amazing. If You hadn't mentioned it I would not have seen it.
