Thanks BT and Alex, glad you like it.
Yeah, was in Tokyo for a short business trip (first time there), lucky to find this place for a bit of an escape from all the crowds and hussle and bussle.
Gorgeous. I would never of guessed that it was Tokyo, looks much cleaner and nicer then I would of expected. Love the little people ontop of the boat, great stuff.
Alpha Tokyo is my favorite city I never hesitate to go their for business .When I first visited Tokyo it was like stepping on another planet. Nobody seems to speak English people are very friendly food is fantastic and so clean it puts Sydney to shame. One great thing about Tokyo is that you can walk around a 2am and feel very safe . LOZ
Thanks Craig. Yeah, even though Tokyo is a city of 12 million people, it is suprisingly clean - and the food there is just great.
Thanks LostDingo. Yeah, before I went to Tokyo, had never seen this side of it in pictures before (after I came back and did a search on the net, managed to find a few though)
I Love Japan, never been to central Tokyo only the outskirts. I want to go and stay in a cubicle hotel. I usually travel to Sapporo and regions in Hokkaido which is magnificent.
Great things about Japan? Ensen (and sento), takoyuki, electronics, inari, all their restaurants, cleanliness, autumn in Hokkaido, Sapporo ski jump and ice festival... ![]() Nice photo by the way. President, A.A.A.A.A (Australian Association Against Acronym Abuse)

Thanks ozimax. Yeah, Japan is a great place to visiit. Wish I had more time, maybe next time I'll be able to do some of the things I've wanted to do - like travel the countryside more.
Haha... yeah, would like to try those cubicle hotels.
Thanks for clearing that up, I've never been or talked to anyone that has been, so I guess my mis-conception is either based on my own imagination or on the Hollywood films, which as per ususal isn't a good guide to what a place is really like.
That is a great capture of Tokyo. I had the pleasure of travelling to tokyo in 91 when I was a wee lad. I managed to get out into the country side to seek some serenity, but your picture has captured that of the city.
I love the lighting of the bridge, tower and the two boats. The tonal colour of the image is also very peaceful and sets a beautiful mood. Congrats on a great image thanks for sharing and stiring up some fond memories. /M. - "There... I've said my bit !"

Thanks psionic. Glad you like the pic and that it brought back some good memories for you. Yeah, Odaiba is a nice and peaceful part of Tokyo, the beach there is quite popular it seems.
