They are sharp Pharmer. And at f4 you have a nice dof effect. I haven't tried any street photography. It's on my gunna list.

Very cool photos.
The 50mm 1.8 is amazing. It is very sharp, doesn't cost a fortune, ways nothing, is unobstrusive, is quite small, the D70 with one of it mounted to it looks much smaller, I could go on and on and on ... It is a beauty and of course there is the 50mm 1.4, some people just fell in love with that one. Get yourself a Nikon 50mm 1.8, it is peanuts for what it is cabable of. Cheers, CD
Only PP done was a slight vignette on the last one. The colours are straight out of the camera. I run the camera in sRGB mode IIIa and enhanced colour. I also normally run an exposure bias of -0.3 or -0.7, helps the saturation.
