BBJ,

Fantastic work as usual. No# 2 and No# 4 are my choice.
Keep em coming, I won't get bored.

Did No# 4 not want his picture taken, or was he about to change gears mid corner?

Cheers

Wocka, he is an up coming young rider who is infact a very good rider from Warnambool Victoria, i have done lots of pics of him and they have used 1 of my shots converted and printed on stubbie holders. He is only a young fellow but he is such a nice kid where some are stuck up and so on but he will go a long way.

Gees John your bike photos are top class every time. I enjoy them very much. Out of this lot I really like the 1st and 3rd ones. The eyes on the biker just shows his full concentration while doing his business.

Well done mate.

Bill

John,

I think these are the best shots I have seen from you. You have certainly come a long way since I first joined this Forum.

Nice mate. Up to your usual standard, but number 4 is something special.

Is the D2x much faster focusing in AF-C mode than the D70, hence the sharper images?

Once again, showing us how it's done. :)

Ras, yes it is faster which is what you would expect from a camera of this nature and no i think the D70 could still make a nice picture as it has done many a time over. Yes D2x is faster but yeh i could do it with D70, maybe just a bit different thats all.

I got an email from the Local Newspaper ealier today and my crash shot of the bikes in flames is on tomorrow's front page, also Ausytalian Motor Cycle News Magazine is thinking about running them as well.

Cheers
John

Ok not sure about the Bike mag as yet as i had to write a report on it and send some low res pics and then they will decide from there so will wait and see Craig. I have pics in local paper most weekes and well they wont pay anything but i make sure i have all my credits and so they give me that exposure and i have people ring up for pics that i have put in paper so they pass on the info to them about me and give them my card or number and they ring and order pics, so yeh they are not making anything really so i dont mind.

Sounds like an ok deal, if you getting regular exposure and they are directing possible sales to you as well. Good luck with the report and the magazine!

Thanks Craig, i will wait and see what goes of course but atleast there is interest there and thats a start, i dont mind getting some pics in now and then it would be good but i do like to help promote local clubs etc.. riders so yeh it is hard to hear 1 of my customers is from Victoria and say's he has never had his picture in the paper over there and this young fellow is a rising star infact he is the last picture of these shots. Just so happens his Mother owns a motorcycle shop in Warrnambool but still should not take the glory away from this young fella and he is such a nice polite kid.

Tonite i am doing some work for another local Moto X Rider on some sponsor pics as he is being a sponsored rider this season with a supplied bike, so this i love to do and help as much as i can.

All fun, i already took the shots other week after a race meet so now just to pick the right pics out and add sponsor's logo's etc..
