Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Yeah, I think you captured the lighting really well. It doesn't feel very industrial even though the detail is, my eye gets caught by the sun and clouds. well done.

Its really nice stuff. Great light.

What do people call those light fingers. My mate calls them fingers of god?

Coming up to the right time of the year for great sunsets, moody clouds and great colours in the cooler air :)

I prefer #1 but really like all of them. I think figers of God is appropriate as it looks very much like the illustration in books when God is talking or watching.

I like the shots and as you say the light is fantastic which makes the water look great and the smoke from the stack works great in #1.

I can't decide whether they work for me or not. I like industrial shots and I love seascapes but the shots seem to lack industrial detail. Perhaps some post production to put more highlight into the buildings???

It sure would be nice to get great afternoon light opportunities like that all the time.
Cheers

The light particularly in the first two is very, very nice... One of those occasions when you look up and go "wow, where's my camera!"...

Nicely captured...
