3 photos from a walk todayUnfortunately I had a day off work today. I would have liked to have been there, but anyway, I finally had time for some photography. Nothing special, but something at least.

hi
the spider is just amazing shot, so much detail and the lighting is just super!! may i ask how did you light it up?? was thats just flash or a reflector? thanks for sharing christian check my website>> http://www.6701.sunpixs.com
Hi Christian, thanks for your comments.
The spider was backlit by the sun, and I just used fill flash using the cameras built in flash. The full sized version does show a lot of detail. I don't hate spiders, but I never do look at them up close either. Doug C.
Have you ever considered getting a DHG lens protect? The aberation on the gull is pretty intense.
Those blues behind the spider are awesome Never argue with a fool. They will drag you down to there level, then beat you with experience.
Although I gotta admitt, sometimes it makes for a good laugh ![]()
Nope, not when I can simply spend 1 minute in PS. How is it now? ![]() Doug C.
But please don't have a tooth removed for each outting. They are good, but I wouldn't give my teeth for them ![]() As been said the Spider looks great, the detail is sweet. The seagull I like the least just for me now they are as bad as ducks (around work I have swallows or seagulls and the seagulls are much more friendly). Um, so let me clarify its the content I don't like not the shot, it's ok. #3 Good example no corrosion here, great detail and I like the shadows.
Thanks Chris and Craig for your comments.
![]() The seagull shot is not high quality, but it is the best I have done so far with the Tamron shooting a subject moving so quickly. Of course there were plenty of other failures. The Tamron is just too slow for this type of shot. I understand Alpha_7 that it was the subject of the shot that didn't interest you, not the quality of the shot. But I wanted to acknowledge anyway that I don't think it is a high quality shot, but I am happy with it when considering the lens I was using. ![]() Bah.. Damn tooth extraction.. ![]() Doug C.
