Blue Mountains - Vertical StitchThis shot is made up of 8 shots in landscape mode stitched together in PanoFactory. It has been resized dramatically for the web, click on the thumbnail for a slightly bigger one.

Well interesting I went back and checked, and all the shots in this composite were shot in A mode @ F8 with a range of shutter speeds, and -0.7 EV, usually I make it a habit of shooting my panos in manual mode.
Great stuff Craig, esp a 200mm pano

Come follow the rabbit hole...
On this version I did so some sharpening, I probably over did it, the full size one is good, but when resizing it seemed to lose a lot of the effect.
Craig - I really like the shot, and the seamless stitching you did !!!! It is a nice change from 'normal' horizontal panos ...... I'd love to see some more shots of this beautiful spot please

Nice job
I have been thinking about doing a vertical pano for a while and have figured out how to make my pano head work this way, but just have not found the subject yet. Keep up the inspirational panos ! Cheers Gecko Nikon D70, SB600, Benbo Trekker, LSII, KingPano and a lot to learn!
Terrific work on the pano, good job and also good choice of subject... Nicely framed too... Like the way it draws the eye through the detail in the cliff face... I reckon that needs printing...
Aka Andrew
