The background Pano

Postby big pix on Sun Apr 30, 2006 9:16 am

this is one of the backgrounds that was used for the outdoor shoot, harsh backlight, lots of shadows, and ducks....... this shot was done a little to the side of the portrait shoot to get more even light and to not shoot direct into the sun........ 5 shot pano, using photomerge in PSCS2, kit lens and Kingpano tripod head.....

How is it that the joins aren't evident with the differing exposures?? Everytime that I shoot a pano on auto there are dark/light waves across the shot where the frames join :(

Nice shot Bernie
Stood behind you when you took this and you made it look so easy.

Nice pano Bernie
I was also looking over your shoulder as you took this and was surprised to see you use AUTO and AUTO WB....

There are some pic of the pano head itself in this thread.

TGecko

when shooting simple shots I use the KISS principle....... auto works very well, as this was just a general overall pix, and not what I would call a keeper, just a bit of fun......... if you look you can see a shitty duck.......

EDIT: I always shoot in RAW and auto white balance, this gives me greater control when using ACR and later PP......
