This has little grainy bits in it which are generally particles in the water.
Taken with a D70/105mm Nikkor micro from about 1m away.
Probably could do with a little better photoshopping, any ideas?

Aquarium shotBeen a while since I posted anything. Still trying to get decent shots in quariums but there are so many factors to overcome.

It's a pity you chopped off the top of it's fin. I'd be inclined to try and boost the contrast (either by using "brightness/contrast" tool or via changing it with curves. Adjusting the "levels" might also help - if you haven't already done so. I can imagine this requires quite alot of patience ! Dave

Perhaps a contrast boost or adjustment in curves
Does look flat on my monitor, perhaps a boost in saturation also I havent any experience with fish shots but the noise in the water may benefit from a going over with neat image, noise ninja or other noise reduction software. Steve check out my image gallery @
