Very nice.
I'd like to see you play with the curves on this however, to see if you can coax a little more detail from the shadows. The bristles are getting lost in there, and if you can do this, I think you'll find you have a very satisfying image as a result. I further expect, howeve, that when you do this, you might find that you don't quite have the DoF nailed. But let's wait and see, and see where a curves adjustment takes you first. g.

![]() Two adjustments to bring back some detail on the bristles then attempted to blend some of the darker areas back into darkness. Slight hue adjustment for a warmer colour. The end of the brush seems to fade into a soft fuzz...
