i really like the second last shot, of the duck. The ripples and the reflections make me dizzy. i like the effect.
and i noticed that tiger's teeth, yuk! they're all worn away! Nathan

Nathan, yes the duck has that effect on me as well if you look at it for awhile, not sure why but yeh was different and took it on the run while following the fella's. They were on the trott making a Bline to the tiger and i stopped to look over the bridge to see this so shot and moved on.
The poor tiger well i would say they have ground her teeth down and is a pitty as spoils the pics. D3,D2x,D70,18-70 kit lens,Sigma 70-200mm F2.8EX HSM,Nikon AF-I 300m F2.8, TC20E 2X

BBJ - very well done. The duck is the pick of the crop IMO, simply stunning colours. Need some more practice at shooting the McCaws, see you in 3 months time

When people ask what equipment I use - I tell them my eyes.
BBJ wow I love all these shots,, now I wanna find a zoo around the sunshine coast, preferable not steve erwins zoo,,, to damn expensive to get in,
suzanne Nikon D200, 24-120mm VR, 70-300 ED, SB800 flash, Manfrotto tripod,
Thanks Fozzie and Suzanne, yes i guess they are a bit to get into but i think Fozzie and BigV like others find it cheaper to become a member for the year with unlimited access so go anytime you want. Wont take long to get your money's worth back.
I think if i lived in Adelaide this is what i would do as it was very nice to just go for the day and would spend some time there as out time did go quick. Very pleasant day had by the three of us and could see myself there a lot more if i lived there. Anyhow i will be back in a few months time to have another go. Cheers John Pt 2 will post soon.
