They fly through the air with the greatest of ease. I finally have a working computer again :D Three shots form the Qld Rally last weekend.

Nice shots Oneputt. I wonder if you took any slow panning shots to blur that background and really create a sense of movement? Might have been interesting to lay lee side of the hump and pan the underside of the rally cars as they became airborne. Now there's a shot noone has got yet  AND lived to talk about it
cheers

Very nice John. The last is my pick. My shots at Cutter's Hump were rubbish even though I was only a few metres away the angle was all wrong. Top stuff. :D

Marco getting an uninterupted view was the reason panning was not an option. We were stood elbow to elbow  :D

Jon,
Love the shots but I have been playing with Photoshop the past couple of days and thought that I would share this one with you.
Hope you don't mind.
I made a copy of the image selected the car and then the inverse, applied motion blur to the masked layer with a 30% opacity.
Easier than getting elbow room it would seem

First two shots seemed to have slightly blown highlights, but the light in the Corolla's picture is fantastic. I disagree about adding motion blur in post-process though, unless it is carefully done using very accurate masks and doing several layers of it. Shooting with lower shutter speeds might bring out some wheel blur too.
