Container ship Kota Pahlawan chemical incident.

Postby xerubus on Fri Jun 23, 2006 10:52 am

QFRS crews were notified of a container ship which was leaking Potasium Ethyl Xanthate off the Queensland coast. Crews boarded the vessel, Kota Pahlawan, off of Port Cartright to inspect the containers and to give the all clear for the vessel to dock at the Port of Brisbane. No crew were reported to have any side-effects from the emissions.

Great images.

I'm liking #3 the most. Would have liked a little bit more room at the bottom of the image. You've almost chopped his feet off.

Great works!
The photos looks similar to the astronauts walking to their space ship.

Mark you were discussing how dificult the lighting was it looks like you didnt fair too badly, they shots are well exposed.

Though you make those fireys look really short, I can't remember exactly how tall you are but you must have towered over those guys.
Are we there yet?

Number 2 is a beauty,. Don't you just love the reflective strips on safety gear. Plays havoc with exposure but you have managed very well. :D
