Sorry I haven't been around much of late. been spending less time on the internet and more time enjoying the beautiful Vancouver weather, but I recently snuck this photo and thought that there are many people here that enjoy aviation ie: Than and others. All of the processing was in Rawshooter premium. Critique and comments appreciated as always, don't hold back. I almost think that I overdid it a touch.

I really like it Dave. The darkness of the image gives it a brooding menace. I would like to see what the image looks like with just a hint of detail in the shadows for comparitive purposes.

Good to see you back here mate :)

Not overdone at all IMHO...
Very dark very menacing... Apocolyptic...

As it should be given the primary function of these birds...

Great work, very meancing.

Isn't the F-117 known as the "Wobblin' Goblin"? coz of it's unconventional flight surfaces makes it unstable without computer augmentation of pilot input?

Just some bizzare fact I have stored for useless trivia.

Thanks for the comments all.

The treatment was a little bit heavy with the darks, but it helped with minimizing the stuff on the lhs without having to go into Photoshop. As a result the darks are quite dark, but ultimately this is the effect that I was going for. I agree that it's almost too bad that there are all the people there, but it's not like I'm selling or using this image for anything other than simple enjoyment so I'm not too worried about that stuff.

Nice pic.
The place according to it's pilots, flys better than it looks.
Scale models of it fly with no problem whatsoever.

The only requirement for pilot augmentation is because it's center of gravity is back so far as to make it unstable.

All military jets produced since the phantom have had computer stability augmentation. Without it, they're not manueverable enough.
People put way too much rubbish in signature blocks.

Just watch for the people walking across the taxiway and when you see their noses get smashed in, there it is. Easy when you know how.
The enemy just look for craters and then look up.
