I have no problem with these images. Nudity and any images are creative and these are great images.

Dan,

I like No.1 quite a lot. Other two nudes, the poses don't seem natural to me.

Hi bonou2,

I also have an appreciation for tasteful nudes.
Well, I think these images suffer from very blown lights.
I suppose this is deliberate.
I had a thought: do the same images in a very gentle romantic lighting.
Get some very gentle , romantic skin tones - in a candle light environment.

My 2 cents - regards,

bonou - I like the first one - the second and third just don't look right ... the one on the beanbag looks like she fell out of the sky and landed on it ? :?

I'm with you on the first one though, I do love high key ;)

your last post is much more tasteful
it's more suggestive whitrh a nice seductive feel

although with the high key which is great for normalising tone somehow the yellow tone is unflattering, i think it would look better de-saturated or just tuned to black and white

I like the second beanbag shot *much* more than the first one, mainly because the pose is much more natural (even down to the "position" of her mouth).

Love the very first shot, too.

Dan,

I think this one is the best in the series. The pose looks most natural and not vulgar.

You have posted some very strong, graphic images and they are creative and graphic. That in itself is an achievement. I think anyone who sees these images will spend some time reacting to them and that's a good thing. These are poster type images and would be perfect for advertising a theatrical show or similar event. Bloody good work from me. You have a style and I am looking forward to seeing it evolve.

Yeah, but three hours is bloody ridiculous Matt. Philo, get out the cold spoon :P

Dan, I love the guitar shots. Great use of curves, lines and form. The first bean bag shot looks vaguely pornographic to me, but Helmut Newton made a very nice living producing very similar images. The next bean bag shot is much more to my taste.

I also note that nobody has commented on the band shot. Guys, there's a cracking live music image there too

Well done Dan

i have to agree, the last bean bag shot looks a lot more natural and comfortable. the first one seems like a shot leading into a more slightly sexually orientated picture series.

the shot of the gig seems a little out place but is a great photo.

Cheers guys,

Def no sexual impact was what i was looking for with that been bag shot. Please mods feel free to remove it if its to "close to the bone" (bad choice of wording there Dan) :D

I have some awesome live band shots to put up soon!

i wouldnt say "it is to close to the bone...." 8) the 2nd one fits the series better.

the first could have a whole series on its own which i dont think would be safe for work or possibly these forums :P LOL

looking forward to your gig shots.

Wendell beat me to it. I do like high key (mind you I've never managed to get it right) but I always prefer it in B&W.
