The enchanting Mitre Peak at Milford Sound. 
Mount Cook as seen from outside our motel door. 
Mount Cook at sunset from Mount Cook village. (Sunsets at 9:20 PM) 
Mount Tasman from Lake Matheson at sunrise. (Did not check the time at sunrise) Would like to know if people would be interested in seeing some more pics from other places I have travelled to. Thanks, Nosh.

Love your work Nosh, you have a great eye for landscapes. The Mt Cook sunset is sensational. The first one is great too, and unless I am mistaken, even includes a duck! Yes, I would like to see more

Do you have a gallery anywhere, would be the best way to share if you have a lot. If you don't, do a search on "gallery" in this forum and you should find a few options. If you're not sure what you're doing, ask away

Hi All,
Thanks for the comments on the images. It is really encouraging. I am pretty surprised with the results considering the camera is a point and shoot Canon A85 with only a 3x optical zoom which does kind of restrict the control over composition. That said, none of the images have been cropped in any way. If I wanted a close up shot, I got as close as I needed, which included a walk up to the Muller hut in the Mount Cook region. Also for such a small camera the metering using the Manual mode is pretty accurate. Probably sometime later this year I will get myself a D70 with the required lenses and the SB800 flash as well. Looking forward to all the fun. Just wish I had loaded transparency film in my FM3A instead of negs. Will try and get a gallery going sometime next week as I have lots more pics of people, landscapes, portraits etc. Nosh.
