Hobart Smelter PanoramaCreated this today. It was made from 48 images (2 rows of 24) I thought I would set myself a holiday challenge. After doing this one I am planning a large pano of the Hobart waterfront. The original file is 23868x4024 pixels.

That's a wonderful image and seamlessly stitched. You must be very proud of the accomplishment. What program did you use for stitching? PS This is a better link to use for the larger version: http://tassied.smugmug.com/photos/118572886-O.jpg Peter

Thanks for comments Peter and thanks for modifying the link I am still working Smugmug out (I think). I used DPP to process the RAW files and then used Photoshop CS2 to do the work.
very nicely done mate. I have done a few panorama's. But nothing of this magnitude. It was getting painfully slow trying to stitch and edit 7-8 photo's, but 24... insane.
Im impressed, and you hsould be proud. MattyO

Well done. Not only for the stitching, but also noticing the great photographic opportunity.

Hi there Andre, Newcastle? I am looking forward to seeing some panos from there. I used the Canon 28-135 IS USM @ 135mm
Wowsa, awesome shot I had a close look at on the hold the stitching is awesome.. a few hard to avoid bits with the surface of the water but other then that a absolute ripper..
By using CS2, do you mean by hand, lining them up ? Or is there a pano option in CS2 ??? ![]()
