Paris was fun...

Got a thin skin? Then look elsewhere. Post a link to an image that you've made, and invite others to offer their critiques. Honesty is encouraged, but please be positive in your constructive criticism. Flaming and just plain nastiness will not be tolerated. Please note that this is not an area for you to showcase your images, nor is this a place for you to show-off where you have been. This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Typically, no more than about four images should be posted in any one post or thread, and the maximum size of any side of any image should not exceed 950 px.

Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

but it wasn't at all what I expected...anyway here is the obligatory Eiffel Tower shots...and just to prove I was there...me in my room...:)

Bindi it sure is big..needs a cople of shots stiched togethr to show all of it by the looks of your post. I like no 3 the best..

You went all the way to Paris and come back with pictures of that bloody awful tower? Like a moth to the flame. Where's the beautiful skinny women? The bagels and bicycles? The flowers? The cafes? The gendarmes in their fiats? The little 2CVs? The cheese and wine makers? Lovers kissing? Shakespear & Co? The poets and painters and lovers? Statues? Flowerpot windows? The fashions? The war graves? Back you go And try gain!

I like the first one. It's an angle I've not seen before. Well done getting that one.

Nice deep blue background with the yellow tower in shot #1. Well executed. Lets have some more of Paris then! Any flying butresses?

Lol...yeah getting pics of the tower was a bit sad wasn't it...sorry Matt I do promise to do better next time...I gots some of the outside of Moulin Rouge and some french chefs if its any concilation...;)

And Koala the Paris Hilton...as in the hotel is in the first shot...yeah yeah I know I'm lazy...I just walked out the front door took the shot....didn't see the real live walking one while I was there...I suspect though that our bill there probably has paid for her next night on the town...37 Euros for one bourban and coke in the bar there...thats approx 70 Australian dollars...*gasp*

I gots some more Willy...and they're coming...shortly....:)
