UWAM Calender Shoot

I went out and took some shots for the UWAM 2006 Calender. A lot of effort went in to most of these shots to make everything look right. I'd like any criticism or comments into what you would have done differently, or what could be improved on.

I like 1 & 4
1. I love the contrast & sharp shadows. It is all about the car.
2 loses impact as the bakground mergers with f/g in cockpit, and the "tail"
3 Base of fence chops the roll bar
4. I like the humour. background sets the scene. The afternoon (morning?) light works really well to define the subject.

the exposure on the 2nd and 3rd particularily on the 3rc is excellent
the scenery is kind of quirky on the 2nd the two trees and that monster of a vehicle juxtapose each other, it makes it interesting as you wouldn't expect it

is there an artificial light on the vehicle as well?

well done

Thank you everyone,

There is no extra light, I just merged together 2 exposures.. to try and bring out a much larger dynamic range in each of those kings park shots.

Because of the high performance racing slicks that are on the car, its actually really tough to try and remove all the debris, and to keep it off.

Trying to frame each shot was pretty difficult in the small window we had to take all the pictures, i tried to take care not to have the car blocking anything or have anything wierd sticking out of it.

There is a few more tha i will try and put up soon.

Great shots.

Please, nobody mention straight horizons as they never have ever mattered for shoots like this.
