Haven't done any night time photography for a while, maybe it shows? Taken at South Curl Curl beach. Comments and criticisms welcomed:

Love the soft pastle colours, pffff out of pratice... pull the other one Geoff.

I see you took the 85mm off finally, but ISO 160, was there a reason for that, or was it accidental ?

LOL Craig! I haven't done a night exposure in a long time.
The ISO 160 was more experimental than anything else.

To be honest at first glance I didn't like the contrast between the artigficially lit pool and the natural ocean. The longer I looked at it though the more I liked it. There's a sense of warmth in the pool, making it look like a little man made haven from the cool, unpredictable ocean.

In any case, I like it now!

Very nice shot Geoff
I like the contrast in the colours, but would try a pano crop with a small amount off the bottom and the sky cut right down. :)

Just tried that onscreen with tissue box and a bank statement (that sounds wierd when you read it back...) and I think you may well be onto something!
