Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Plenty of 'togs at the A1 last weekend... but I bet that I was the only one shooting in IR...

It's always interesting to see another way of looking at a scene. I must say cars probably wouldn't have struck me as a likely subject!
Have you got a 77mm R72 filter for the D70? You're not using a modified camera are you? Looks like you did a reasonable job on the focus, which is impressive given the above. Similarly keeping the car in the frame would have been a challenge, which I'm guessing is why you were shooting at the wide end of your zoom! But shooting at ISO 800 and then boosting exposure in ACR by 1.8EV hasn't done a lot for the quality. These get very "pasty" towards the right.
I was actually using the 52mm IR filter Wendell gave me on the 80-400 by holding it in front of the lens like I normally do.

innovative bud and the fact you didn't have to screw the thing in
once saw someone useing a cokin ngrad filter by just holding it in front of the lens instead of buying an attachment for it
