Round 2 of the MCRCWA bike racing was on this weekend, the weather was ideal for some good shots and the racing was excellent. I managed to get out to an awesome place on teh track to take a type of photo ive been wanting to try for a while!

I hope you like these as much as I do, as I consider them my best shots to date!

C&C is always welcome and appreciated... thanks to brett for the hosting! I owe you one!

Nice mate.

Good bike close ups always look the part, and these are no exception. Nice colour/saturation and sharpness.

What lens/body you using?
2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc

Brilliant shots : crisp, clear, and the facial expressions are great, and/but I also like the third shot in the sequence - the one where the visor is all-reflection.

I got the trust old d200 back from repair this week, and the 70-200 with no coverter.

You could say i was situated pretty close to teh action... these shots are pretty much uncropped off the camera, just slightly for better composition.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone!
