My little manTook this image tonight while my little man was in the bath. He's now 13 months old and full of mischief. Lighting was a combination of down lights and a heat lamp, so I shot in RAW and adjusted. PPing for crop, brightness and contrast.

Great shot Alan, perhaps my monitor but he seems to have a slight orange 'fake tan' sheen to his skin.
He looks like a little mischievous ratbag, just wait until he's a little older ![]() Edit: Was my laptop monitor ![]() Last edited by bwhinnen on Sun Jun 17, 2007 10:54 am, edited 1 time in total.

Thanks for the comments folks. Portraits are somethng I usually avoid, but the lighting in the bath seemed okay. Until I tried to meter it, this is also on 640 ISO, so the lighting wasn't the best after all. Thats why the DOF is so shallow. Ideally I would have had some bounced flash or the likes, but it was a spur of the moment shot.
His mum is pretty chuffed, so I'm in the good books. Now, to broach the D2x issue with her..... ![]() 2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc
