Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.
Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

First shoot I've ever done for a clothing outlet So many lessons learnt from this shoot. For once I didn't go all out with the flash - love natural light.
Was an interesting time having to portray summer...when it was 10 degrees and the location had a fair number of trees without any leaves. Wasn't a big budget as well but the client liked them and are keen on taking me onboard to do more shoots for them
Nothing too moody in this series. Went for a more natural look to it, except for the first photo - had to go for the bread and butter
Single gold reflector on her left side to balance out the lighting a bit.
Gold reflector on her left and high up to even out the lighting
Thanks for looking.
Cheers,
Wayne

ah nice tones overall
1st oen is my pic backdrop is simple merges in nicely with the fashion pose all good and natural
the 2nd and 3rd on the pose is a bit too contrived, sometimes if you want natural you need to shoot almost candidly otherwise it kjust looks forced
show us the whole set so i can comment on the over all feel of the set
anyway great job for on location work, i bet it was hard styling and finding the appropriate scenes, technical and artistic aspects as well as worrying about the logistical side of the shoot, shooting fashion requires lots of skill and applied knowledge over so many disciplines you did very well.

Great photos and your tones are really excellent.
I realy like the pose in the #1.
If i had to change something,
i would change the white part corner
of the wall above the head of the model,
to the main colour of the wall.
Great photo anyway.

Wayne,
Great job! No. 1 has the best appeal to me, followed by No. 3.

Wayne,
I really like #1 here. Would like #3 more without the vertical post on the right.
Cheers

Thanks everyone for your comments. Have shown the client and they are ecstatic about the photos. I need to go home and edit more photos now as they want to see more variations of the same set Still way ahead in terms of budget so happy to comply for now but will keep them under a tight leash

Good exposures all around Wayne. My only irk (and has nothing to do with your technique) is the model herself. For a 'summer' theme the make-up department went a bit overboard. Nice hair-stlyin though.
