Beautiful captures but on my screen they look just a little over exposed. Her face looks washed out. The 2nd shot I'd like to see her eyes a bit sharper too.

Initially I liked the washed out look but after a while it was just obvious that it was overexposed
Here is ver 2.0 of the first image <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com.au/miskeljin/August07/photo#5100209738594249090"><img src="http://lh5.google.com.au/miskeljin/RseVvDTl6YI/AAAAAAAABCg/cJKIufd8Nms/s800/August%2007-81%282%29.jpg" /></a> Cheers

Georgie,
I'd like to see a bit less (still!) exposure ... maybe add to the saturation ... and also, warm up the wb a smidgeon. That's, of course, only for my tastes. YMMV g.

Thanks for the suggestions - have played with WB and am probably slightly happier.
It's very rare for her to look at me when I take photos, she normally does the whole "CCCHHHEEESSSEEEE" thing or stares away Cheers
Georgie
Great shots!

Come follow the rabbit hole...
The reworked #1 image is a beautiful child portrait. She has magnificent eyes, and looks like she might break more than a few hearts in years to come.
Well done. ![]() TFF (Trevor)
