Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.
Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Here are a few images that I won the "Caught in the Act" competition for Dec/Jan edition of Africa Geographic.

I'm quite chuffed 
Baboon nest raider on Southern Carmine Bee-eater(Merops nubicoides)colony.
Taken Sept 2007 with Nikon D2Xs/300 f/2.8VR (HSC mode)
On the Luangwa River, Zambia at the nest photographic hide located
approx 15m parallel to the river bank.We were met with the sight of a couple of Baboons trying to break
away the nesting holes in an attempt to get to the fledging chicks.
This behavior is seldom seen and rarely photographed (to my knowledge).
Here shown one Baboon clutching a White Fronted Bee-eater chick in hand.
Snatched & on the run!
The Carmine Bee-eaters would dig into the riverbank and lay their eggs up to 3-5 feet in depth. Here you can see the Baboons reaching in for the steal.
Another Baboon with an egg in it's mouth.
