Re: Amanda Sheperd - Top Fuel DriverI love the thermal effects in #3 and #4 (especially #4)!
Probably wouldn't hurt to spell her name correctly, though ![]() ![]() Cheers What's another word for "thesaurus"?
Re: Amanda Shepherd - Top Fuel DriverWhere the *beep* did that 'h' go, I am sure I typed it!!!
Thanks digitor! Yeah the amount of heat that comes off of these cars is amazing, the feeling as they thunder past is just awesome!
Re: Amanda Shepherd - Top Fuel DriverAll great shots well done.

Re: Amanda Shepherd - Top Fuel DriverGreat series of pics.
![]() We all know how quickly the shutter continuously fires @ 1/800s, so the last 3 frames give an idea of how fast these things are moving towards you.. ![]() And glad you got the name right. ![]() Nikon D70

Re: Amanda Shepherd - Top Fuel Driverexcellent Indeed.
Re: Amanda Shepherd - Top Fuel DriverGreat pics there Brett,
that Sigma looks the way to go ![]()
Re: Amanda Shepherd - Top Fuel DriverThanks all.
Fred, would love to see some of your high ISO pics if you are going to post some up. The Sigma really impressed me over the weekend, even with the 1.4TC on it too.
Re: Amanda Shepherd - Top Fuel Driver
A bit on at the moment Brett but, I'll have a look over the weekend, I agree, I don't have a 1.4 but it is next on my list.
Re: Amanda Shepherd - Top Fuel Driver
Now that would be a great compliment to the 400! Not a worry, glad you made it back safely!
Re: Amanda Shepherd - Top Fuel DriverDarren Di Filippo, ISO 3200, pleased with the D300, may not go to A1 real well but fine for magazine publication.

Re: Amanda Shepherd - Top Fuel DriverThat is really really good! Did I mention good? And I think if you end up running it through a noise filter it should enlarge fine!
Now I wish I had of swapped my D200 for your D300 when you left it down the deep end and went in search of Mr. Badger! That has definitely made up my mind as to the next body purchase for me, the D200 is great in the day time, but really fails at night time when it needs to be pushed.
Re: Amanda Shepherd - Top Fuel DriverD300 + 3200 = Wow. Magic shot. Who needs a crappy flash, ay?

Brett, that pic has been through noise ninja, VD put me on to that program, it is very good. ![]()
Re: Amanda Shepherd - Top Fuel DriverI was wondering as it looks clean as Fred! I still think that will blow up pretty well though. But agree all you need it for is a magazine
