Please note that this is not an area for you to showcase your images, nor is this a place for you to show-off where you have been. This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Hello,
Had the pleasure of shooting with Penny today on location, and this series was shot in a quiet melbourne laneway, natural light, sunset oclock, no other gear, and I am pleased with the results.

love to know what you think and how I may improve. thanks in advance. :D

regards
Bruce

i love your stuff. the angles, lighting and compositions are always very appealing to me. #2 is a freakin pearler. the soft glow of the lighting is sublime.
although...i must say, i dont particularly like the facial expression in #3.

great composition in 1
Not sure abour 2; perhaps more contrast / saturation?
3 makes me wonder what she's thinking!
I'm not into portraits, so I can only offer 'reaction' to what I see. Enjoyed looking at them!

Bruce
She's beautiful! I just want to run my hands over her curves and caress every part of her body. The girl looks OK too! :D :D :D
On a serious note...these are some of the more sophisticated images you have posted and demonstrate your maturity as an evolving artist/photographer. These images would not look out of place in Vogue magazine. Nice work!

I would agree that sophisticated is a great word to describe these images..

I love the first shot, the car is soo glossy, love it, and her red dress is a great compliment to the black car. Helps to have a hot model too though :D

good stuff bruce.

i'd like to see more light on her (only) in the first pic. Perhaps a localised light that's shielded so it won't splash on the car as well.

yeah, agree, thats exactly what I was thinking at the time, but the exercise was to see what I could get with just the sun, and a camera (no reflectors etc).

I really like these as a sequence telling a story.
Generally with "glamour" shots, I have a quick peep and move on.

I keep coming back to this thread though as there is a real mood to them.
As such I am not really prepared to pull one out and say "that's the one" If I was was held at gun point though I would probably go with #2 as this really encapsulates the whole story for me.
