Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Hi All.... Been a long time since Ive taken any snaps let alone posted them.. went to point cook RAAF museum today...great place, insane security guard tho! so heres my pics with the 400D...just the 18-55 kit lens as the 50mm i have was too long to get full pics... the colour one purposely has a bluer background to bring the plane out a bit... which is best... B&W? Colour or Sepia? and then the phantom somewhat OOF and not for critique as this pic sux...dam yellow floor! but just thrown in for good measure The Tiger Moth fire away ... hope u like and if u ever get a chance shoot down there for a looksee...free entry and happy donations

I personally like the black and white image for the first set. Neither the Phantom nor the TIger Moth did much for me. I would have imagined that the lighting was not great, but good work!

B&W for me, it suits the old style if plane. I always think of sepia as just a faded old B&W anyway.

I think the first image is a wonderful example of a B&W image that is better than its colour counterpart.
