Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.
Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Just got back from 10 days in Florida, US. Will post some of the Everglades later. Spent a lot of time chasing these little guys at Butterfly World, near Ft. Lauderdale. No tripods or monopods allowed, SB 900 was essential and it's difficult to get complete freezing of the wings with just one flash, resulting in some ghosting. You need a minimum of at least 3 for these guys with a proper feeder setup to get it right. I wish we had these guys here!  C & C most welcome. Cheers Marc D300, 70-200 + SB900. 1/60s f/10 @ 200. Thanks everyone for the positive comments.
Steve,the no pod rule is because (I think) there is not much room on the paths for them, and also most likely do to litigation/law suits!! This is the US after all!!
