Now who said you can not capture a bird in flight with a 50mm?

Taken with the Sony A7 + Novoflex NEX/LEM + Leica Summicron 50mm f/2

Just a few images taken with my Tamron SP 500mm f/8 + Sony LA-EA4 + Sony A7. These were captured whilst being thrown about in a 2-3m swell.

I know this is a photographic, not a video forum. However, a time lapse is still-image-based. A couple of months ago we visited Port Macquarie, just down the highway from Coffs. I got up early one morning and took a couple of hundred photos, with the Fuji XT-1 built in intervalometer and a tripod, of the sunrise. I know it's fairly amateurish, but hey, I'm a rank amateur in most things.

Here's the resultant (very short) time lapse video:

Some big swell at the end of winter. Tough to get a dry spot to shoot, overcast and between the showers. Here's 2.

It has been said that "the best brand of camera is the one you happen to have with you at the moment."
and in this case was a mobile phone...

Hi all,

I was recently re-visiting a few photos from a trip I took down to Victoria a few years ago.
Here's two shots I quite liked.
The first, taken at sunset at the Twelve Apostles, at sunset:

And then somewhere in country Victoria, after a rain storm with more cloud looking threatening:

sweet lighting in these images - now... how about a real taser (the one with shooting prongs), and ramp it up to the max value

These visited last October, and i thought they had been driven from their normal home by the bushfires. But they have made another visit over the last few weeks. This has enabled me to hone my stalking techniques. Though I still have a long way to go.
