Unfortunately I don't have a remote for the D200, since Nikon in their infinite wisdom decided to make the brilliant $30 wireless D70 remote incompatible with the better camera

Light painting in KNPI spent last week at Perisher. Pulled myself out of bed at ~4.30am one morning, strapped on the snow shoes and went exploring, hoping for a great sunrise. While I was crunching away on the ice (-5 degrees that morning

very nice ....... I would be happy with that result....... you will find that if there is some noise when viewing on screen, I doubt that it will be on a enlargement........
Cheers ....bp....
Difference between a good street photographer and a great street photographer.... Removing objects that do not belong... happy for the comments, but .....Please DO NOT edit my image..... http://bigpix.smugmug.com Forever changing

I think this has a great ethereal quality. The noise is a minor distraction, but I don't think it destroys the shot. The other elements are great - you've got the inky blue sky with a splash of stars and the contrasting colour from the rising sun and compositionally you've a nice strong foreground to draw the eye to the rocks. A keeper. Peter

To me the noise is not an issue. I think it is such a good image as it stands. The Orion constellation and other stars really make this a stand-out image. Great work.
