One of m first portraits

Chris, a beautiful natural pose and capture.
Good model too, helps make the image.
I'd like to see a tad more contrast in this image, but only a little bit. The bokeh is nice. The slightly blown highlights to the left and right of the woman's head as you look at the image just above her shoulders is a little distracting. All in all, a lovely portrait. Any more?

Thanks, I can adjust it a bit more. When I get home ill up the contrast and remove some of the brightness out of the background

Unforunately no more, we were at a BBQ and I just snapped it with the 24-70 F2.8 attached. I was pretty happy with it but agree re: contrast/background

She does look lovely and relaxed I think you did a good job...

for future reference though maybe when you have a bright day like this one you could underexpose the shot a little (a stop or two) to expose the background correctly ....that stops the blown highlights in the background...then add some fill flash onto the subject...it works a treat..
