Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935. Our mug is smug
It's a curse I know too well. I like B&W for all of them ![]() Thanks Regards, Patrick

Patrick - you're evil! I don't like this image (of me) at all. Not the photograph, the contents..oh well. BEAUTIFUL photos of Alicia and Alex...don't stop posting!

I'm sure I saw that first photo on the news tonight on a story about some escaped crim. They said that if you see him, do not approach but immediately call 000.

Sorry Geoff - I had crappy light - backlight with very little light on your face, hence the contrasty, Lomo effect. It doesn't show your true light!

Patrick the last two images are great. At a push I prefer the last one over the penultimate one by a whisker. I like the eye contact and that lovely natural smile.

Thanks Peter. Also, I will ensure I use an approprate DOF in future, but the new toy is a joy to use. Super fast focus, brillian sharpness and great OOF. Regards, Patrick
