Hi All, well i try not to bore you all too much with my pics but here is a few from yesterday's events. Couple of youngins in the karts taken with my new 300m f2.8 and couple from MotoX.

very nice, great colours. Love the go-kart ones, the drivers must love them! What sort of 300mm 2.8 you using??
2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc

Thanks Jase, Cordy, Raskill. The lens is a nikon AF-I 300m f2.8 lens, it is a heavy lens no more hand held shots when i use this one.

Thanks all, still getting the hang of it but so far so good. Chi anytime mate, i am hoping i will get into the Moto GP with it next month and will try it out on some corners next week at the track again for a ride day in practice for 1st-2nd Oct for big race meeting here. Ok like i said no more walking around all day hand holding the gear as it is quiet heavy so monopod is getting a work out.

Alex would be good to get some shots like yours but, different track,conditions etc.. i am hoping we get a couple of nice sunny days instead of the rain we have been getting.

Thanks kerry, and others. It is hard to make them look exciting and often they are not, but some good shots still. The 2nd shot of the bikes the young fellow actually came off and that was just the start of his fall, nothing major but made a good action shot.
