He was Maxwell Smart's younger brother

ps that 2nd shot is really haunting, I love it more and more. Was it that blue naturally or did you standardise the series?

Glen

It's my fave of these three (just - I really like #1 too)

After a slight curves adjustment I bumped the blue slightly and sharpened it. Below is the original before blue adjustment & sharpening. As you can see I didn't have much work to make the finished product. All this was done in NC

Peter,

I really like #2. It's a great shot. The patterns on the building lead my eye left and then right and then left and then right............................ad infinitum.

I like the simplicity and colours of #1 but it seems a little out of proportion to my eye. Cant put my finger on it.

The curve of the monorail track in #3 is wonderfully prominent but I would have perhaps tried framing it portrait mode to get more of it in.

Nice blue feel overall though - really works here.

Stubbsy
again, great photos. I REALLY like #3...it has that futuristic feel about it....and I love the composition of it, though as Rokkstar eluded to, a portrait view may enhance this shot even further.

They would have been great entries for last months ES:Blue

Matt & Dave

Thanks for your comments. Especially re: the portrait crop. I've done it and no question this makes for a stronger image. Don't know why this didn't occur to me

Matt

Re: your comments on #1 - I may have cropped it a little tight, or it may be the steep angle I took the shot at.

That shot of the mono-rail is a corker and the portrait crop makes it... Real eye catcher...

Of course if I was fortunate enough to be chosen I'd also have to share the spotlight with my two cropping advisers in Matt and yourself
