Walking with lions and more Zambia picsHmm...yes I've been slack! It really is going to take me forever to get through these pics. Anyway thought some may be interested in a close encounter of the lion kind. Twice we came across lions whilst doing a walk. Whilst I had faith the guide had done this before it still got the adrenaline going! Not a great pic but good for memories. I've also included some more pics.

G'day Nicole,
Great to see them, the hippo pics are terrific! Seeing the lion on the WALK ![]() Trawling through your web-site now (well laid out!), the images must bring back some great memories... Cheers. Aka Andrew
Re: Walking with lions and more Zambia picsHi Nicole,
Great shots. It's not easy to get through the pictures, so many. I have a number to get through too. It will take time. Hope mine come out close to as good as yours. Hope to start posting some in the next few days. I only had one walk in the Masai Mara, no lions on that walk, just a hyena in the distance, but it wasn't interested in us. But even that got me looking around a bit more attentively ![]() ![]() There are some great shots on your website as well ![]() Cheers, Radar Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution. Nicole,
These are great , I love the animals in the wild. My mother inlaw just return from over that way also. SHe has heaps of pics with a crappy canon A520 or something. The Masai Mara that radar mentioned rings a bell , plenty of elephants , lions, hyenas and stuff. Pity I wasnt there though the vans she had looked setup for taking photos. Please post some more these were great. MATT
Nicole - awesome shots. I have a soft spot for lion/s, so that one does it for me. Not that I would like to be that close in open ground.

When people ask what equipment I use - I tell them my eyes.
I got to that stage and cracked up!! ![]() Great shots Nicole, felt very sorry for the Hippo that had lost it's friend, the giraffe was great. The elephant looks kind of bored or tired.
