Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.
Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

I think the last one is my favourite, great seeing members out doing what they enjoy and doing it together. I also like the #4 shot, postcard background with the camera in position in the foreground (I have a few similar, but with different backgrounds).

Matt
#1 is streaks in front of the others. It has a fantastic narrative feel, beautiful clean lines and a lovely dusky, pastel exposure.
#5 and #6 are also nicely captured

#1 is just so superb I'm speechless. If that's me in the bottom left hand side, I'm spoiling your photo! You know I was always quite happy to get out of the way. Just ask me to move or give me a kick up the backside! I respond to both.
That's my camera in #4 everyone! Have a look, it's famous! Again, I would have moved it, but I think you might have wanted it in your shot. Looking at the shot it wouldn't be hard to clone the camera out. I really like the exposure in #4. Often the pylons of the bridge come out garishly yellow/orange in night photos, but not in this shot.
#5 I really like. It's so different to mine. Probably different metering, I don't know.
Looks like I managed to get out of your way in the last photo, but who are all those other people?

You didn't spoil my shot! You are the vital element that holds the composition together! Without you...it would be nothing!

Thanks for the images Matt K.
I in particular love the last shot.
It makes me realise what I am missing living a thousand miles from knowwhere. Not that I want to move to the city, you can have that. Just an example of a group of people sharing their hobby or illness. Much like the guys at the pub every day
