Peoplecouple ppl shots
Sorry if any of these are reposts. . . I haven't been around in a while and I'm not entirely sure they're all 'new'. Comments/critiques welcome ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for looking, -Rich D70, 18-70 DX, Sigma 70-300 APOII, Nikkor 50mm 1.4D, SB800, Bogen 3046 w/Manfrotto 322RC2 ballhead, Lowepro Nova 2 AW
I really like #2 nicely composed and interesting angle.
The two kid shots are nicely done too, I like the eyes in both they draw you in. #1 I think we have all felt like pulling our hair out, but I'm not sure if they works... then again I'm not sure what you were trying to acheive with it ![]() Interesting to see more "blue and white" then black and white used in some of these shots.
thanks for the praise and comments btw, i LOVE your sig. . it's befitting to all of the above pics, and mostly everything in my portfolio
nothing is planned, and the harder I try the worse my shots look the 'accidents' are always the best -Rich D70, 18-70 DX, Sigma 70-300 APOII, Nikkor 50mm 1.4D, SB800, Bogen 3046 w/Manfrotto 322RC2 ballhead, Lowepro Nova 2 AW
I hope the more I learn and play, the more regularly the accidents will happen. But your right you can try too hard to get the results your after, sometimes you just have to shoot and let the shots find you.
I like the 2nd one neing unconventional portrait nicely framed, and the last one, has a nice perspective and off centre candid feel to it.

You've posted #2 here before, but it's a great capture and well worth another viewing. A good bunch of pics. Peter

firstly, sorry about the repost
secondly, thank you all soo much Marty- I'm glad you like the PP on the first one. . I'm not sure if that look is what I was originally going for, but when I got to that point, I really thought it strengthened the image and went with it wendellt- appreciate your comment on the second one, a lot of ppl have told me I need to 'fix' the rotation, but it's exactly how I want it ![]() -Rich D70, 18-70 DX, Sigma 70-300 APOII, Nikkor 50mm 1.4D, SB800, Bogen 3046 w/Manfrotto 322RC2 ballhead, Lowepro Nova 2 AW
I think the first two are great.

Rich, no need to be sorry. It's a masterful image and I'm certain there are many here who hadn't seen it. That's a great pic well deserved of a second viewing. I for one enjoyed seeing it again. Peter
