To me, landscapes look all the more dramatic and interesting when the weather closes around them. Your day out in the fog shows this very well.

That's the perfect weather to get the waterfalls in the blue mountains, everything is running well because of the rain. Plus the lower light levels helps you get the slower shutter speeds
