Meet Julz...... not a glam shot but Julz, the tightrope walker cum fire juggler. I took a couple of shots of him and this is one I like. I had to physically lay on the ground (at Circular Quay to the astonishment of the tourists

Great silhouette, but to be honest the flames almost look fake.
I also may have tried to clone out the pole.
I did attempt to clone out the pole but it was toooooo difficult (with my PS skills or lack thereof). The flames are legit BTW. I did nothing to them at all, not even making them more ...err...flamey

Shelia,
I know the flames are real, but I kept looking at them and my main was saying... hang on they are fake. I have very weak PP skills myself but am more then a little suprised that you think you are lacking in the PP skills deptartment. Have looked through your galleries I assumed you were a realative master.. if this isn't the case you probably just an even better photographer ![]() ![]()
I have so many books on Photoshop 6, 7 and CS and CS2 but I am completely baffled by them. I haven't even got the hang of layers yet! All I do is shoot RAW, rarely even changing white balance in the ACR conversion. I then try a couple of Curves - normally a slightly S type curve, shove Fred Miranda's CSPro sharpener set at the lowest (it helps having L lenses
![]() I clone out dust spots when I have to (until my next attack on them with Eclipse and PecPads) but little else. I have been known to move a tree or two! Cheers Sheila Sheila Smart
