The second and last batch from the recent Myall Lakes outing. Apologies in advance, but again there is a little of my trademark blue here  . To see a larger version, click a pic. The entire gallery is here.

The effect in this one looks better in the larger version

Hi Peter,

#1 and #2 are the ones I like in this series.

The ferry in b&w works really well. One sort of associates a ferry to times gone by and that works for me.

The watercolour treatment on #2 is really really nice. I assume that it was done with a PS tool?

The last one with the fisheye, may look a better with some of the sky cropped, but that just IMHO.

thanks, better get some of other photos PP

Great pics Stubbsy,

I like this series better than your first series, especially the winda woppa watercolour. I guess I like saturated colours :)

André - Thanks - I felt the same re: treatment for the ferry, and yes #2 was done in PS CS2 using the Rough Pastels filter.

Andrew - Thanks - I'm guessing you missed pt 1 and only saw the shots of the wood. Pt 1 is also high sat and can be found here

Daniel - thanks. It was great to meet you and I look forward to seeing some of your shots. Anyone can do PP, but you still need to start with a good shot. That said, here's the unprocessed version of the image I PP'd into the Winda Woppa watercolour which shows it wasn't a particularly well composed image:

Peter,

Standout for me here is #4 - the people walking away from you. The composition is great and the stark contrast between sand and sky is beautifully broken up by the figures.

4 is most interestign composition wise, but i like the fantastical sky in #2

Matt, Wendell thanks. Almost didn't put #4 in but the composition appealed to me somehow with the people breaking up that sharp delimiter between sand and sky.

G'day mate,

Love the B&W and soft focus(?) on the ferry, really suits it well, and the last one knocks the socks off! Throw in a dark blue gradient from the top down in another layer in overlay blend mode and the sky will pop!

Nice series Peter.

#1 This one I like and dislike all at the same time, I'll leave my vote as undecided

#2 Love it, this is a gorgeous image and a big improvement over the original shot

#3 I like a lot but a nice cloud would of finished this shot nicely!

#4 Love this shot of the climbers accent!

#5 Making the Fisheye sing, Peter this is lovely, the sky is magnific!
