Some bloody fantastic photos here Darb, man makes me want to jump on a plane and find some snow, it looks like so much fun. The D70 looks like it's handling the condtions well.

Special Moments Photography Nikon D700, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4, 70-200 2.8VR, SB800 & some simple studio stuff.
cheers, trust me it was an absolute ball making them ... gave andrew a quick lesson in d70 use, he didnt do toooo badly (some of the pics of me are heavily cropped.)
its actually a no go zone, so theres a bit of risk involved, but the guys i went with (under their wing) knwo the area very well, know what, where and why bits can be dangerous etc. Was using a tamron 28-300 piece of crap ! It did pretty well. http://davidsonimagery.com/

two that i left out at the time (i was obsessed with the shots which had tight frames ...) wider angle shots that andrew took of me (extremely brief lesson in dSLR use) ... the first one of these two i actually now think is the best shot of the lot (of me that is) as it actually shows a bit of the terrain too.
