Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Lovely Chris. I was expecting some ace product photography, studio lit and creatively composed.

Instead we have a lovely tongue in cheek shot. looking at it from this angle it almost appears 2-Dimensional.. like a Cardboard car from Playschool.

Steve, the price is just in front of walking too. There is a company who supplies the pre sign written cars to people, if you are social, live in a high vis area and travel in high vis areas they will rent you a car for about $35 a week. That is $5 a day, the car has a 3 cyl turbo motor, so add another $1 for petrol, not much more than a bus ticket. Thjey change the add every 3 months, from memory (though Chris may correct me) this one had a beer add or beer glass collection add a month ago.

This is the mob that does the rental. It's pretty restrictive (only 20km a day and within a certain area). I was interested in getting one awhile ago and driving down the coast but then I read the Terms and conditions.

Actually, you have to drive 40kms a day but no more than 80kms a day.

Well found Andrew, there is also a mob which does them long term but really check out that you are well known and a member of lots of social groups,. etc so they get maximum exposure.

Never kept the details so dont have them but as Birddy said would be great for the kids, or trips. Over many V8s rent and petrol would be cheaper than petrol alone in your own car, not even counting the wear and tear

Nice pic Chris, I think a bicycle would be roomier though...

To contrast things, being driven home from hospital today (by my wife), we came upon a load on the side of the road, some sort of huge transformer or whatever - the low loader had 180 tyres, and it took 5 linked prime movers to move the thing. And would you guess, I didn't have a camera!

Cheers,
