lots i dont like about this pic, some things i do like...
the tight crop had to do with a distracting building where the light source was coming from...not sure about the exosure too, and yeah...just not sure. would appreciate some critiques

On my monitor your exposure is bang on. The framing is good too, not at all too tight. The tones on it are perfect, and I even like the sort of sickly yellow light that it's getting. The top of the frame could probably be cropped a touch, but even that I don't mind too much.

Starting to get more daylight I'm finding so maybe I won't have quite so many night shots, although i've got a brand new one I'm sort of liking...

Really like the mood of this shot, and I agree with Dooda on my LCD the exposure looks dead on. The tree does appear very sickly in the yellow light, but it adds to the affect.

it is spooky, but the crop is a bit dooky
the leaves look like the most interesting part but the tree shape is not very nice either get further away from it so you get the whole tree in with ample room around it to make it look isolated and even more spooky

or revisit and shoot the leafy parts of it

The colour tone and mood are excellent

Dee, like everything about it but the tight crop. Not a big fan of PP, but maybe a case for a wider crop and then clone out the offending building?

agree that the tight crop doesnt do this justice.
it needs more room to breath.

I would clone the offending building out.

Great pic... looks spot on on my LCD as well... the depth is great... could do with a lil less sky up top though...

There's a great atmosphere in this pic - it's just a shame about the required tightness of the crop.

The tree is great (it has a spooky, mystical look) and I don't mind the cropping at all. However, I don't like the bright green grass at the foot of the tree - I find it distracting - but I don't know what you could do about it.

Ooh, I really like the green grass on bottom. Sort of makes it look like it's about to perform on stage.
