Lovely pics Wendell, looks like that lens is a keeper - although the lighting is a little harsh (I'm guessing there's not much you can do about that in that sort of situation).
...But where are the stars? ![]() ![]() ![]() *** When getting there is half the fun! ***

Great stuff Wendell, I'm sure this was great experience and only just another small step towards bigger and brighter things for you my friend!
And that 85mm is very Drool worthy.
Crisp shots Wendell, taken with a steady hand and a quality lens.

Wendal, great shots mate as usual and yeh wow seem like that lens is working for you and have it all sorted out and well some yummy birdies there, now i think they would still look better unfeathered or is that uncloathed. The later i think

thankyou everyone for the support the 85 f1.4 is an insane lens on the web it does look sharp but the original pics are just scary I can pinpoint fine minute facial hairs and skin textures, it helps if you use the flash, but even at f2 the sharpest point is dam sharp I would question sharpness at f1.4 though a bit soft
Great shots, Wendell.
