I can't seem to see the first one. In the second one you lose the bird with the seed? in the background. The seagull is nice and clear with a good OOF background. Likewise, in the fourth you have done well to get a nice coloured background and not overexpose the pelican too much. I enjoy trying to take pictures of birds - never an easy exercise so well done.

Beautiful bird in the first two, looks like you could perhaps go for a bit more contrast and I'd probably crop in a bit on the first to exclude the darker stuff on the left and frame closer in on the bird... Seagulls are tricky to exposure for I reckon and pelicans are an exposure nightmare, hot white next to black, doh, I always have trouble with them ![]() Aka Andrew
