Some nicely framed images showing the colour and feel of the event. I think the last one is a ripper. Fringe is right Big V. There certainly are some characters there. You'd swear you were in Q'ld
cheers

These are great, they seem to show the feeling of fun of the event, well captured... That last one is my pick, great moment!

Hey Big V - there were a ton of photographers wandering around there last night weren't there! Although you would have felt the odd one out with your Canon (didn't see too many of those around!) and it looked as if most of the press guys were shooting with D70s!

Yup, lots of nikons...I was standing on the side lines across from the stag hotel. I was pleased with my results, set the camera to manual 30th of a second, f4.5and rear synch on the flash with -1 FEC..so nice colour in the fore ground and some light in the back ground.

I'm glad you guys made it into the Fringe opening.

you may have noticed the drop of rain few hours earlier - we are still drying out carpets and sofa.

I snapped this street performer as I tried to get home!!

not great quality but a bit of fun!

(why does it always rain on friday afternoons - washed out baseball last night and cricket today - how can I improve my sports photos without sport???

I think some of those characters are well passed the 'fringe.'

Still, one would expect that from South Australia, 'the state of contrasts.'

:) :) :)

Great images of what must be a very interesting and visually stimulating event.
